Hi, I'm Elisa
I’m the founder of Design with Elisa, where I help homeowners approach kitchen planning and renovation with more clarity and confidence. I’ve spent more than 10 years working hands-on in cabinetry, joinery and furniture in Finland and Australia.
Over the years, I’ve learned that a good kitchen isn’t about following a list of rules or fitting in every possible feature. It’s about understanding how someone actually lives, what they need from the space, and which decisions will make everyday life easier - and a little more enjoyable.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
I don't believe there's one perfect kitchen.
The best kitchen isn’t necessarily the biggest, the most expensive or the one with every feature Pinterest says you need. I believe the best kitchen design is the one that works for the people who actually live there.
That might mean a huge uninterrupted bench for someone who loves to cook, a coffee or tea corner that makes mornings feel a little special, extra space for kids to sit nearby, or choosing a dining table instead of squeezing in an island.
Good design should make everyday life work better - but I also think there should be room for a little everyday luxury.
WHY I CREATED DESIGN WITH ELISA
A clearer path to a better kitchen.
After years working hands-on in cabinetry and joinery, I’ve seen the same kitchen planning and renovation mistakes happen again and again - often simply because homeowners didn’t know what questions to ask before decisions were made.
I created Design with Elisa to help homeowners understand their options, make more informed decisions and enjoy the process of planning a kitchen they’ll genuinely love living with.
